8 Screened Abatement Workers Delivered in 3 Business Days

Case study: 8 workers staffed at a North Carolina military installation in 3 business days

The project: abatement at a military installation in North Carolina.

Crew: 8 workers.

Turnaround: three business days to recruit.

The challenge

Every worker had to be a US citizen with a clean background check, a stricter screening bar than a typical commercial job. The role had proved difficult to fill.

What Cruitfly did

Before recruiting, our sales team researched the local labour market and talked through the project with the client in detail. What came out of that was a pay rate set at genuine market rate for the area and the clearance requirements, rather than a rate that looked competitive on a quote and then failed to attract anyone who qualified.

We then recruited against that rate and filled all eight positions in three business days.

The result

All required workers delivered on time, with additional qualified candidates interested beyond the eight needed.

Why it mattered

Most staffing problems on restricted-access work are pricing problems wearing a recruiting costume. If the rate does not reflect what it takes to attract someone who can pass the screening, the role stays open regardless of how hard anyone recruits. Diagnosing that before starting is why this one filled.
